1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website and booking services at The Serenity Ranch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Booking and Reservations
2.1 Deposits and Payment
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due upon arrival or as specified during booking. Deposits are non-refundable except as outlined in our cancellation policy.
2.2 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled ride are eligible for a full refund
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled ride forfeit the deposit
- No-shows forfeit the full payment
- Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance
2.3 Weather Policy
We reserve the right to cancel or modify rides due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
3. Rider Requirements and Safety
3.1 Age Requirements
Riders under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the liability waiver. Minimum age requirements vary by activity and will be specified at the time of booking.
3.2 Weight Limits
For the safety and welfare of our horses, weight limits apply to all riding activities. Please provide accurate weight information during booking. We reserve the right to refuse service if weight limits are exceeded.
3.3 Health and Fitness
Horseback riding is a physical activity. Riders must be in reasonable health and fitness. Please inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or limitations that may affect your ability to ride safely.
3.4 Appropriate Attire
Riders must wear closed-toe shoes with a heel (boots recommended). Long pants are required. Helmets are provided and required for all riders. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone not wearing appropriate attire.
4. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk
IMPORTANT: All participants and their guardians (for minors) must sign our liability waiver before participating in any activities. Horseback riding involves inherent risks including but not limited to:
- Falls from horses
- Being kicked, bitten, or stepped on by horses
- Equipment failure
- Trail hazards and terrain
- Weather-related incidents
- Allergic reactions
By booking and participating in our activities, you acknowledge these risks and agree to holdThe Serenity Ranch, its owners, employees, and agents harmless from any claims arising from your participation.
5. Code of Conduct
All visitors and riders must:
- Follow all instructions from staff and guides
- Treat horses, staff, and other guests with respect
- Refrain from smoking, vaping, or using alcohol/drugs on the premises
- Not bring pets without prior approval
- Keep children supervised at all times
- Not approach or feed horses without staff permission
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these rules or creates an unsafe environment. No refund will be provided for dismissal due to conduct violations.
6. Photography and Media
We may take photographs or videos during your visit for promotional purposes. By visiting our facility, you consent to such photography and its use in our marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our staff before your activity begins.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Serenity Ranch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, resulting from your use of our services.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in whichThe Serenity Ranch operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
